It helps me read MORE since I can rent e-books from my local library for free. I think buying e-books is overpriced since they're not always less than a physical paper copy, so renting from the library is a great alternative.

Of course I'll always love paper books, but I see myself reading less and less printed word as time goes on.Leiahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10456375638658542110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-71395235943108444042011-04-21T02:14:55.856-04:002011-04-21T02:14:55.856-04:00I beg of you to go for a NookColor. Other than the basics of more books to choose from, color conversion is better, internet access, and android market ready. It is so close to a tablet which makes blogging on it great too. (I have more info about it on my blog) But I totally love my nook. I use it for library books too.heavenisabookstorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14056056204401705535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-85267226083728565002011-04-20T22:15:25.003-04:002011-04-20T22:15:25.003-04:00I agonized over making the switch and researched l...I agonized over making the switch and researched like crazy. I have to say that I'm absolutely in love with my Kindle. It's easier to hold than a real book, I can get a new book in seconds (as opposed to waiting for the library, Amazon to mail it, or going to the store), and I love the "try it" feature (read a Chapter before buying). I'm glad I made the switch!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-38644610774009896462011-04-20T21:28:34.839-04:002011-04-20T21:28:34.839-04:00I'm a big kindle fan, but I'll never give ...I'm a big kindle fan, but I'll never give up the printed word. The kindle is great because it's easy to read on and commute 30-40 books. Although, it's kind of annoying when your book dies... that's the only down fall I have! LOL - I think you should do it!!! It's a great gadget to have :)Reeder Readshttp://www.reederreads.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-52330924775173968812011-04-20T19:58:47.922-04:002011-04-20T19:58:47.922-04:00I have a Kobo (the Borders eReader) which I was ab...I have a Kobo (the Borders eReader) which I was able to get sort of cheap.

I'm not crazy about the thing, though I do find it convenient at times. I am reading a book on the Kobo, as well as my paper books and the series to which I'm listening on audio. I suppose that that's where the thing falls in the world ... it's another medium, but one that's more-welcome in my life than TV or such.WKenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02059596026880204598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-7580362412354280732011-04-20T16:29:40.998-04:002011-04-20T16:29:40.998-04:00I will ALWAYS love "real" books! But, I ...I will ALWAYS love "real" books! But, I have to say that ereaders are fantastic! We have two, actually. I love that my son is using one for his Honors English class. They read A LOT in his class and most of it is classic literature which can be downloaded for free! And it's less weight in his already overloaded backpack.
I went to my favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch. I love to have lunch by myself and read. It's just so much easier with an ereader. I don't have to try to hold the book open and eat at the same time. Also, no worries about dripping salsa on the pages... not that I ever do that :D
I will never forsake the printed word. Ereaders are just complementary accessories!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13987598950262475994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589462943899657898.post-2794685212323031682011-04-20T16:22:03.314-04:002011-04-20T16:22:03.314-04:00Two or three years ago I was given a Sony eReader ...Two or three years ago I was given a Sony eReader for review on my blog. I liked it at first, but just couldn't get into it. Not only do I prefer the feel of a real book, at he time there wasn't much flexibility with the ebooks. Now you can trade them, share them, get free ones like crazy. I sold that eReader on ebay (got $200 for it!) but now I'm thinking anyone that wants to read actively won't be able to do so without one of these. And now the Kindle is only $114.Memarie Lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03289584923725420572noreply@blogger.com
